In 2000, a 12 year old girl began a project that would change her life, and the lives of 16 teenage dancers.

That year, Joanna Poz-Moleski with her friend Anne Rigney founded En Pointe Youth Dance Company.

From choreographing the dances, sewing the costumes, raising the funds and calling around for publicity, these two teenage girls give the adults a valuable lesson of risk-taking, commitment and teamwork.

Bringing together teenagers from a wide range of dance backgrounds, En Pointe provides an environment of challenge and of respect for hard work.
